The Twitter follwer record experiment from Twitter member RecordTwitt
As everybody talks about twitter and i did not really understand what it is all about twitter and its marketing power, i opened my first Twitter account called: RecordTwitt.
After that i did a little research on google to find out what other Twitter members efforts to be famous on Twitter and to get as much followers as possible.
First thing i found was the Twitter Traffic Machine. But with a littlemore of reseach it was clear that this is all nonsene from some Marketing pros to make money on ebooks or videos for money.
The solution can be found here: Its simple and in the end it does not work:

Then i just searched for some Marketing Twitter profiles and followed them.
I got my first followers by that way (10 followers in 30 min). With those new followers the first invitations to join a kind of "more follower programm" called:
iWantFollowers.com.
You have to join a certain list of twitter members and get an invitation link to invite other twitter members to join this follower programm. If iwantfollowers.com gets 15 new members by your invitation link, they put you on the prominent vip follower list that you clicked through in your registration process to become a member of that programm.
This program just works if you really promote your invitation link regularly.

Some of these programs are fakes!!! like:
They just collect followwers without giving you the promotional link to get a chance to be listed on the vip list.

Until today this time after 24 h (25.07.2009: 7 pm) i have 139 followers by following 819 Twitter members myself. Its impossible to follow all their messages.
So have fun on twitter and help me to make the Twítterprofile "RecordTwitt" famous as follower experiment. Tell all your Twitter friends about it and most of all to support it!!! Thanx for that!!

Its not very helpful with all these follower programs. If you don´t promote them..but they promote themselves without you permission...somehow...
Have a look at your message board and you´ll see that there are plenty of promotion messages to your follwer.
I guess its better to follow profiles that are about your personal twitter theme....
If theres a hint to the theme in the Usrer name itself...its a good chance to win followers...
